Tracey Evans, Executive Director of WCDCIn June 2010, Tracey was hired to serve as the WCDC’s first full-time Executive Director. A founding member and former secretary of the organization, Tracey was instrumental in securing the initial funding for its establishment. In addition to her work at the WCDC, Tracey chairs the Wilkinsburg Municipal Authority & Wilkinsburg Borough Commercial & Industrial Development Authority and is a member of the Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group, Wilkinsburg Community Art and Civic Design Commission, and CONNECT (Congress of Neighboring Communities). Tracey served two terms as an elected councilperson for the Borough of Wilkinsburg from 2006 through 2013.

Jennifer Salmans

Jennifer AlfieriJennifer joined the WCDC as an intern during summer 2011 and quickly stepped into the role of Administrative Coordinator. She now serves as a full-time Program Coordinator. She earned her Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012. Jennifer also serves on the Wilkinsburg Chamber of Commerce board.

Marlee Gallagher
Communications & Outreach Coordinator

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAMarlee began volunteering with the WCDC in February 2013, and became the organization’s Communications & Outreach Coordinator in March 2014. Previously, Marlee worked as a nonprofit consultant and grant writer for several local organizations, including Nine Mile Run Watershed Association, Friends of the Riverfront, and Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Marlee also serves as Secretary of the Wilkinsburg Shade Tree Committee.

Gordon Manker
Program Coordinator

gordon 2Gordon joined the WCDC as a Program Coordinator in March 2015. Bringing extensive veterans affairs knowledge to the WCDC, Gordon served nearly 30 years in the PA Army National Guard and U.S. Air Force Reserves. Gordon is also a former Wilkinsburg business owner. Most recently, Gordon worked at the Micro-Business Institute and the Environment & Energy Community Outreach Center (EECO), both programs of Pittsburgh Community Services Inc.
